How to Install Microsoft Word / Excel on Android & iOS Tablets

You can use Microsoft Word and Excel on your smartphone or tablet by installing the official apps.

Android (Phone / Tablet)

1. Open the Google Play Store
2. Search for Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel
3. Tap Install to download the app

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

1. Open the Apple App Store
2. Search for Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel
3. Tap Get to download and install

Sign In

After installation, open the app and sign in using your SSO (Single Sign-On) account.

Important Notes

• You must have a valid Microsoft 365 (M365) license to use these apps
• Faculty and students enrolled in ICS courses are provided with a license
• Some features may be limited without a license
• For Chromebooks, we recommend using the browser version (Office on the web) for better compatibility and performance.
