How to Apply for CMI Wireless access?

Available Wireless WiFi Portals at the College of the Marshall Islands (CMI)

CMI provides three main wireless networks for employees, students, and guests:

• CMI-UniFi – For CMI employees

• Student-UniFi – For students

• GuestPortal – For guests or temporary users

For CMI Employees

We offer secure wireless access for all CMI employees. To connect, a voucher (access code) is required for each device.

If you are an employee and need a voucher for your mobile or computing device, please submit a ticket via the CMI Helpdesk or email us at helpdesk@cmi.edu.

Each employee is typically limited to two active vouchers.

For Students

Students who wish to connect to the Student-UniFi network must complete an online application form.

After submitting the form, IT staff will generate an internet voucher that is valid for two devices. Students must visit the IT Department in person to claim their voucher.

For Guests and Temporary Users

Guests and temporary users may request short-term access through the GuestPortal. Please contact the IT Department for assistance in obtaining a guest voucher.
